Supply Chain Manager Job with Biz Consultants in Bahrain

Biz Consultants in Bahrain is looking out for talented candidates for the post of supply chain manager. This is a full time job and the candidate is expected to have an experience of around 7 to 8 years.The main role of the supply chain manager will be to select the best transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.

Other job roles include:
1) Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
2) Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
3)Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
4) Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
5) Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
6) Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
7) Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.
8) Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
9) Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers.
10) Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.
