Job Description:  




  • Responsible for forecasting activities associated with products sourced from foreign suppliers.
  • Maintains the purchase plans incorporating forecast information (sales, receipts, promotions & others)
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data
  • Analyze clients current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes
  • Interact with Buyers to understand demand forecast drivers
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning Plans as the primary forecasting tool
  • Calculate premiums and establish payment method.
  • Measure regularly the forecasts results and provide the forecast accuracy evaluation feedback
  • Lead Purchasing Activities with end to end process (from PO Management to receipt of stock).
  • Ensure follow-up on On-Time Delivery Status for Pending Orders with Suppliers.
  • Lead initiatives for follow-up on Clearance of Shipments
  • Ensure liaison with Buyers on all purchases as per business requirements (price analysis & cover).
  • Execute with excellence in the area of feedback on opportunities and risks regarding inventory performance metrics.

Supply Chain Manager Job with Biz Consultants in Bahrain

Biz Consultants in Bahrain is looking out for talented candidates for the post of supply chain manager. This is a full time job and the candidate is expected to have an experience of around 7 to 8 years.The main role of the supply chain manager will be to select the best transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.

Other job roles include:
1) Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
2) Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
3)Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
