Description:
Ensure that every arriving guest receives a warm welcome and
an efficient and professional check-in experience.
Ensure that every departing guest receives an accurate and
efficient checkout and a sincere “thank you” and invitation to return. Boost
morale and maintain productivity within the Spa Division.
Establish and maintain effective communication with the Spa
and with other departments.
Develop line staff, supervisors, and managers by delegating
tasks and empowering and coaching them to achieve desired results.
Ensure the Spa is on the cutting edge by researching new and
innovating ideas.
Oversee the maintenance and configuration of the Spa Soft
appointment booking system.
Ensure that information in guest profiles and reservations
is entered correctly, that selling strategies are followed effectively, and
that the system is regularly “purged” of duplicate profiles, expired rates,
etc.
Monitor the level of service provided by the Spa by
reviewing guest comment cards, TripAdvisor reviews, etc. daily, always striving
to improve it through investigation, analysis, coaching, and, when necessary,
corrective action.
Prepare the departmental budget and put measures in place to
achieve or exceed the budgeted profit.
Perform daily walkthrough of guest rooms to ensure standards
of cleanliness and maintenance are being met.
Oversee and authorize schedules and payroll for the entire
Spa & Fitness Division.
Assume ultimate responsibility for preventing guest
dissatisfaction and resolving any complaints that may arise.
Conduct regular meetings with Spa Staff to ensure their
understanding of and satisfaction with their jobs.
