- Position Responsibilities Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees performing duties including receiving, inspecting, locating, storing, staging, loading, and disposing of equipment and supplies, in support of supply chain management operations.
- Responsible for executing the logistics actions necessary to accept, account for, prepare equipment for shipment, meet all agricultural requirements and maintain in-transit visibility by supervising data entry personnel, supply clerks, warehouse workers, forklift and heavy equipment operators who are performing a wide variety of Supply Chain duties to obtain maximum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel in a safe environment.
- Determines the type and sequence of work assignment on the basis of work priority and availability of inventory and supplies.
- Inspects work performed to ensure compliance with established procedures and time schedules.
- Supervises personnel in the receiving, inventory and preparation of materials and equipment for safe shipping over public highways and railways.
- Maintains up to date status for all inbound and outbound material and equipment and provides reports as directed.
- Ensures compliance with Supply administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary actions. Trains new workers.
- Recommends changes to procedures as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
